This tool is particularly advantageous for those managing small to medium-sized buildings, such as clinics, law firms, small offices, or private residences, providing an efficient method for access control.

Flexible Lock Management

Keyng enhances the user experience by supporting flexible management of electronic locking units like door handles or locking cylinders. The initial setup involves reading and naming these units through a Bluetooth connection, facilitating easy identification and management. Users can effortlessly authorize or register transponder keys simply by holding them near the door. Additionally, Near Field Communication (NFC) support enables direct management through the smartphone, allowing for convenient addition or removal of keys without requiring the key holder’s proximity.

Secure Mobile Access

By using smartphones, Keyng allows individuals to invite employees or guests to access locks, combining convenience with security. Invitations and authorizations are securely sent via email and text message, ensuring safe access. Lock opening is smoothly conducted using the free Clex Key app, minimizing costs since there are no additional fees apart from regular SMS/MMS charges associated with mobile keys.

Efficient System Maintenance

Keyng also provides service functions that include updating firmware or managing the maintenance of electronic cylinders, such as dismantling or battery replacement. The app records event logs from the locks, proving useful in maintaining oversight over site security activities. For optimal functioning, the app requires Bluetooth-enabled Clex private locking units, a MIFARE transponder key, and a Clex private mobile-enabled service key.
